I started taking pictures because photography runs in my family—my dad was a photographer, and watching him work inspired me from a young age. His creativity and passion lit a spark in me, but I wanted to take it even farther and create something of my own. As I grew into my craft, I realized it wasn’t just about capturing beautiful moments—it was also about showing what's possible. I wanted to be an example for other Black girls, younger, older, and my age, to see that no matter how young we are, we are capable of doing great things. We don’t have to wait for the “right time”—we can chase our dreams now and build something powerful. Through my lens and my journey, I hope to inspire others to do the same.
